Whip Media is hiring a Director of Managed Services to join our growing Customer Success team. This role will be responsible for implementing game-changing business processes, best practices and future looking strategic plans for our fast-accelerating growth and new product offerings. We want someone to join the team who will be focused and highly-organized on service offerings and projects, managing and implementing new tools, and streamlining processes within the organization. This role will cross-functionally collaborate with team leaders across the Whip Media organization.

What Will You Do?

  • Develop and manage new Whip Media Managed Services offerings 
  • Managing special projects working cross functionally with subject matter experts across teams, departments, and clients
  • Establish strong cross-functional relationships between client and engineering teams
  • Formulating support structure, policies and strategic plans for future growth 
  • Develop detailed standard operating procedures and supporting documentation for Managed services offerings/products in a process driven environment
  • Plan, direct and coordinate managed services teams in support of a company’s growth, including onshore and offshore strategies 
  • Develop and enhance service delivery, fulfillment processes and tools to ensure repeatability and standardization; process management; SLAs and KPIs; templates and process flow.
  • Identify, investigate & implement new tools/products/services.
  • Streamline processes, improve quality, mitigate risk and utilize metrics to ensure continuous improvement best practices and cost efficiencies within services
  • Provide strong management, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Subject matter expertise with new customer and product strategies and rollout; inform requirements and solution definitions for key services enabled implementations

What Do You Need?

  • 10 + years of demonstrated professional work experience, including top-tier consultant, SaaS provider or equivalent role
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with experience managing complex projects or complex business process designs
  • Experience with driving a disciplined approach to designing managed services offerings 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the development of project and process documentation. Process and documentation certifications highly favorable. 
  • Experience with supply chain, finance and/or rights products is required 
  • M&E Industry experience is required
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast paced, hyper-growth environment
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to write and present effective project materials, including process flow diagrams, presentations, status reports, and test plans
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Confluence, process diagram tools, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and clients

We are always hiring in our Whip hubs of New York City, Los Angeles and London where we currently have corporate offices - but for specific roles where we are open to hiring remotely - we can hire in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.
