What we are looking for…

A highly organized and strategic Director of Homeowner Integration to build and operationalize our post-sales teams responsible for ensuring AvantStay’s new inventory of homes are onboarded with accuracy, speed, and care. The Director of Homeowner Integration will be responsible for developing and implementing our national strategic plan on how we scale and innovate our onboarding strategy across our portfolio of homes to ensure our guests and owners are delighted at every interaction with the home. This role is for an experienced, strategic leader with project management and business process scaling expertise. Additional management responsibilities include leading construction projects for all new and existing properties, including the necessary permitting, planning, and zoning research.

What you’ll do…

  • Develop and implement AvantStay’s long-term and scalable onboarding and offboarding processes and procedures, updating as necessary to align with current business and industry trends. 
  • Build and scale the Onboarding team; provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to help grow and develop the team. 
  • Work cross-functionally with our Design, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the onboarding process runs smoothly, on budget, and on time.
  • Track and report on KPIs to determine process improvements and personnel needs for future scale.
  • Manage and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Review project plans in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor progress and compliance with building and safety regulations and analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Source contractors and subcontractors while working with national vendors to drive costs down and efficiency
  • Prepare project proposals and negotiate contracts and fees; bid projects to multiple general contractors.

What you’ll bring…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of relatable experience in hospitality, real estate, and/or property management including demonstrated success overseeing complex projects
  • Knowledge in construction projects, remodels, and development projects
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures, and ability to read maps, blueprints, site plans, and understanding of public review processes
  • A proven leader with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and inspire a diverse team
  • Highest level interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and written and verbal communication capabilities. 
  • Experienced and savvy with all forms of technology, including Salesforce or another CRM solution
