AppOnboard is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, experienced person to join our team as a Business Manager to help organize, run, and manage all of our back-office needs. This person will be responsible for all our back-office processes, documentation, and projects, ranging from coordinating with legal, managing our facilities needs, processing invoices, and more. We are looking for someone who has some experience with things like invoicing, contracts, office management, vendor relations, and some exposure to accounting and legal. This is a dynamic role that will require a self-starter and someone who can work well independently. We are open to remote work at this time.

AppOnboard is a Los Angeles-based software company empowering creators to build businesses without any programming experience. The company offers two no-code products: Buildbox, the largest no-code mobile game engine, and AppOnboard Studio, a mobile, interactive design studio that enables anyone to create playable ads and app prototypes.

Responsibilities

  • Own all of our business operations processes, documents, and needs
  • Coordinate with legal and company leadership on matters affecting our business
  • Review and process contracts and vendor agreements on behalf of the team
  • Manage our relationship and needs with our property management and real estate broker
  • Manage our insurance provider and any needed changes to our insurance
  • Manage any other vendor/partner relationships and needs for our back-office processes
  • Coordinate with our accounting firm on invoicing, financial reporting, and help generate reports for the company leadership
  • Prepare reports and documentation for review by the company leadership
  • Propose process improvements as needed to improve our efficiency and costs

 

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in an office management or other operations role
  • Familiarity with operational needs like finance, accounting, legal, insurance, and facilities
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office and Google Suite of software
  • Experience in accounting or legal a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very detail-oriented and organized
