Assistant Director, Sales
About the Role
The Assistant Director of Student Success will lead our team of Student Advisors, who serve as the main sales and customer service support contact for pre-law, pre-med, and our medical school students. Success will be measured based on team goals around enrollment growth and overall student satisfaction.The role will report to our Senior Director of Student Success. Preference will be given to those who reside in the Mountain or Pacific time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of Student Advisors
- Ensure team exceeds monthly sales goals and service metrics
- Handle escalated customer calls
- Develop and implement training and evaluation tools for the team
- Conduct regular audits for quality and handle performance management for staff
- Manage reporting tools and report regularly to senior management
- Enforce sales and service policies and procedures
- Ensure sales activities meet or exceed goals
- Develop and maintain standards checks
- Assist in developing sales strategies
What You'll Need to Get the Job Done
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a 4-year institution
- A passion for both customer care and closing sales - all day, every day
- Experience as a sales manager, customer care, and/or call center team leader
- Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment, and ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals
- Ability to thrive under pressure and multitask with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Prior experience in the test prep or tutoring industry is a plus but not required
- Prior working knowledge of the LSAT, MCAT, and/or USMLE is also a huge plus, but not required
