We are seeking an Administrative Assistant with a broad spectrum of duties to become an integral part of revolutionizing bartending with Somabar Automated Bartending. Somabar is used primarily by luxury hotels and restaurants to streamline alcohol service. You will coordinate and oversee the organization's daily office operations in Westwood, Los Angeles (near the UCLA campus).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage industry trade show logistics where Somabar is demoed
  • Support management and relationships with external partners/prospective clients
  • Coordinate sales staff interaction with Somabar customers
  • Manage and organize all digital assets, i.e. Dropbox files, emails and Bill of Materials
  • Facilitate in-office client demos and user testing
  • Ad hoc office duties and projects (repurchase supplies, shipping, travel, trade shows, bills, etc...)
  • Organize team meetings and facilitate conference calls with overseas operations as needed.
  • Handle all office and staff scheduling

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant or other related fields
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to multitask and execute
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Trade show experience a plus
  • Familiarity with various business tools (e.g. Outlook, dropbox, mailchimp, square, slack, etc...)
  • Ability to travel to US tradeshows (if needed)
