About the Opportunity
At Sidebench, our Account Growth Strategist ensures the smooth execution of client engagements in close cadence with the Product Team, from briefing teams before projects start to building and maintaining relationships, partnerships and pipelines. You are a solution focused closer who tactfully navigates external and internal expectations.

Using their experience in driving product execution, the Account Growth Strategist works with teams to align the product vision with client and Sidebench business strategies. As the business development point of contact for our clients, you know how to motivate and forecast client needs based on client touchpoints, industry trends and your own extreme creativity.

Cross Functional Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Frame and define the value of Sidebench to our clients as a trusted long-term partner
  • Constantly strengthen existing client stakeholder relationships and establish new relationships into other groups within each key client account
  • Identify new opportunities to expand the number of engagements and relationships on active and new projects
  • Work with Clients and internal project teams to define the next scope of work for active projects to ensure no contract gaps exist
  • Work closely with Product Managers to understand and support the current state of projects and define the trajectory of our engagements
  • Pitch and scope new work, working with project teams to ensure feasibility
  • Build compelling case studies to support Sidebench business development strategies
  • Always tie solutions back to the business impact, not just technology for technology’s sake

Client Engagement

  • Establish and grow client relationships to identify opportunities, earn client trust and convey Sidebench value
  • Advocate for the team when requests do no align with the product vision or contractual requirements
  • Negotiate conflicting requests using a balance of strategic product needs, Sidebench business goals and client success criteria

Product Vision

  • Work with Product Managers to build product and business roadmaps
  • Align the product vision with the business strategies and client goals
  • Challenge internal and client teams to push creative limits with big picture thinking
  • Create and pitch quarterly innovations decks to ensure clients never stop seeing Sidbench as a strategic partner

Skills Required

  • 3-5 years of agency experience in professional client relationship management
  • A background in web and mobile product strategy, design, and development
  • A proven history of managing revenue development and pipeline forecasting
  • The ability to creatively generate opportunities on existing accounts and lateral/non lateral business units
  • Incredibly high EQ and proven track record of being a “Trusted Advisor” to corporate executives and high-profile entrepreneurs
  • A persuasive and confident approach to collaborating with client executives & founders around tech-driven business opportunities
  • Full understanding of creative processes, development lifecycles, emerging tech and trends
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, written and verbal
  • A relentless hunger to constantly learn and grow professionally

While we do have an unlimited vacation and work from home remote policy, In general, this is an office-based role and you will spend time in team meetings, as well as remaining in close contact with key clients.
