The Warehouse Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing all facets of warehouse operations, including Receiving, Pick and Pack, Order Verification, Shipping, Returns, and Staffing. Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, implementing and enhancing operational practices to drive significant improvements in productivity, quality, and profitability across the organization.
  • Engage in the strategic planning process to align operational goals with business objectives.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve operational challenges to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Manage all aspects of inbound and outbound transportation to optimize logistics efficiency.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures across all departments to maintain operational consistency and compliance.
  • Lead safety training initiatives and establish guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to coordinate warehouse schedules and streamline operations.
  • Supervise warehouse personnel and activities to ensure adherence to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Assess employee performance, providing recommendations for promotions and merit increases based on evaluations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations and business objectives.
Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment is required.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and foster collaboration among team members.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to all levels of the organization.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective processes.
  • Team Orientation: Must be a dedicated team player, capable of teaching, coaching, and motivating others to achieve their best performance.
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
