The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Operations & Marketing Associate to amplify our online presence, support customer deployments, and streamline internal operations. You will work cross-functionally across teams, and have the opportunity to interface directly with customers and public safety stakeholders. No two days will be the same, whether coordinating deployment logistics or supporting regulatory submissions. This is a high-ownership role at a fast moving company, and you’ll have real impact starting on Day 1.

What Your First Six Months Will Look Like:
  • Coordinating deployment and demo logistics: scheduling, travel, equipment, site access, and stakeholder communication. You’ll find ways to improve customer experience and optimize our existing processes.

  • Defining and executing Seneca's social media presence across LinkedIn, X, and Instagram. Your work will drive engagement with key industry channels and amplify company leadership.

  • Quickly learning the FAA regulatory submission process. You’ll gain expertise collaborating with our flight team, drafting & formatting documents, and driving approvals across the line.

  • Preparing customer ready briefings, one-pagers, and presentations for leadership. Everything that leaves the company under Seneca's name; every phrase, graphic, and slide will maintain exceptional quality.

  • Representing Seneca in the field at demos, summits, and industry events.

  • Collaborating with our design team to draft company branded materials. The ideas you help generate will determine how Seneca shows up to the world.

  • Shaping the structure and context of internal and external video content.

  • Tackling any problem that arises with a good attitude & growth mindset.

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in GTM, consulting, or operations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Political Science, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field that combines quantitative reasoning and communication skills.

  • Thrive in ambiguity: You identify problems and proactively solve them, take on projects without an initial playbook, and learn from other team members with humility.

  • Excellent written communication: You can move between a thirty-second video script and a formal submission to a federal regulator without changing the quality of the work.

  • Content creation experience: You understand what travels on X, LinkedIn, and Instagram, and you can produce it yourself.

  • Fluency in AI workflows: Modern tooling is a default part of how you work.

  • Customer first mindset: Excitement to engage directly with customers in the field and understand the unique operational challenges.

  • Fire service experience. You have worked in or alongside wildland fire, a fire department, or emergency response, and you understand the culture, the language, and the mission.

  • Willingness to travel: Deployments, demos and key events require a minimum of 25% travel. Ideal candidates will thrive equally at a desk as in the field.

  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or willingness to obtain one.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary – Reflective of your skills and experience

  • Equity Compensation – Be a part-owner in the company’s future

  • Comprehensive Health Coverage – Medical, dental, and vision plans

  • Health Savings Account (HSA) – Optional pre-tax savings for medical expenses

  • Unlimited PTO – Flexible time off to recharge, plus paid company holidays

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
