Ganahl Lumber has been serving customers since 1884. Our Will Call department processes 75-100 orders daily, and we’re looking for an Order Pulling/Will Call Manager to lead the team and ensure efficient, high-quality service.
Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations of a 150-million-dollar delivery business, ensuring orders are processed quickly and accurately. The role involves managing the team, solving customer issues, and improving performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Operations team alongside the current Operations Manager.
- Ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Resolve customer issues professionally.
- Monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Train staff of over 85 employees to improve service.
- Collaborate with other departments for smoother operations.
- Keep the Operations Departmental areas organized and efficient.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service or supervisory roles, preferably in retail or warehouse settings.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
