This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations, accurate scheduling, and high service standards. What You’ll Do
- Monitor daily delivery operations and resolve service exceptions
- Support drivers and customer service teams with real-time troubleshooting
- Train and onboard new team members
- Build, manage, and adjust office and driver schedules
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Prepare delivery manifests and ensure dispatch readiness
- Collaborate with routing and driver managers to optimize performance
- Review payroll and resolve discrepancies
- Process reschedules, cancellations, and customer service exceptions
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics at 3PL locations
- Track recycling and waste levels and recommend operational improvements
- Monitor compliance with check-ins, paperwork, and routing standards
- Review next-day delivery plans and adjust schedules as needed
- Submit nightly operations recap reports
- Attend weekly planning and operations meetings
- Conduct inventory checks and order supplies
Success Metrics
- On-time and complete delivery performance
- Driver satisfaction and engagement scores
- Employee retention and safety compliance
- Labor hours and productivity versus goals
- Fleet damage and repair cost management
