Due to our continued success, we are expanding and looking for a passionate Operations Intern to join our team.
ROLE:
We are looking for a motivated Operations Intern to support our Operations Department with day-to-day departmental needs. This internship will help you acquire skills and abilities and provide you with vast knowledge into our various projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain finished goods and component inventory tracking by warehouse within our inventory and accounting software systems.
- Weekly reconciliation of inventory within the system and investigation of miss-alignment.
- Partner with internal teams for obsolescence review process.
- Partner with the demand planning team to understand replenishment plans and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Responsible for purchase orders and transfer orders receipt in NetSuite, matching quantities to our NetSuite transactions, and receipt of goods provided by warehouse. Investigate any discrepancy.
- Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations on components at select vendor locations.
- Intercompany flow: be responsible for warehouse transfer and transactions
- Preparing documents, packing lists, commercial invoices and shipping instructions.
- Review and send fill rate/cut reports weekly for retailers providing key performance indicators for the outbound and inbound teams
- Fulfill outbound orders to ensure fulfillment accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Working towards your Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or relevant field
- Passion for the Beauty Industry, a plus
- Must have a positive, team player attitude
- Must communicate clearly and professionally, both verbal and written
- Must have the ability to problem solve and manage time successfully
- Must be highly organized and adaptable within a fast-paced environment
