Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

Silvus is seeking an Operations Administrator who will report to the Director of Operations on the Operations team. The successful individual in this role will facilitate effective communication and support among the supply chain, production, and quality teams.

 

This position is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.

The following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review various production worksheets such as the MPS to ensure documented information is accurate and accountable.  

  • Assist with managing data entry and scheduling. 

  • Responsible for change orders and keeping the MPS up to date and accurate. 

  • Assist with upholding ISO requirements in areas such as training, document control, and corrective and preventive actions.

  • Contribute to the tracking and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Support the Production team with administrative tasks as needed.

  • Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 1-2 years of experience in administrative coordination.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Internet skills, including use of email, group messaging, and digital data collection.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Strong attention to detail. 

  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.

  • All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Experience in an electronics manufacturing setting.

  • Proactive approach to problem solving.

  • Ability to accurately follow directions and improvise in grey areas.

  • Comfortability working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems. 

  • Experience using advanced excel functions such as IFS and IMPORT.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Office environment.

  • Lift equipment up to 20 lbs.

COMPENSATION: $24 - $26 / hourly

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
