We currently have an opening for an Operational Excellence Project Lead. The position is located in Burbank, CA.

Primary Responsibilities

• Train in-house employees on new platform (Sfera) and new feature releases 
• Train in-house employees on working with Sfera data to help manage their function
• Assist in the creation and management of employee performance KPIs
• Aid managers in creating and implementing Performance Improvement strategy
• Assist in the creation of processes for new work and help train in-house employees on how to carry out the workflows 
• Assist Operational Excellence Manager in rolling out new programs/processes, including overseeing documentation and training
• Assist staff in creativity skill and problem-solving skill development
• Apply concepts of Lean and Six Sigma to evaluate processes to maximize efficiency, lower cost and improve quality in subtitling operations
• Work with the Sfera Product Owner to capture process automation requirements.
• Solicit input from functional leads and production reps on process efficiency/effectiveness and assist teams in making improvements
• Identify and reduce waste work in localization processes
• Consult with client management and analyze quality data to ensure that processes and specifications align with client expectations
• Support the Programs team in change management in local office and as part of the global initiative
• Train in-house employees on best practices, and lean concepts
• Oversee global training processes for in-house employees

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
• Background in Quality control or Process Analysis an asset
• Relevant training experience
• Knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma
• Strong English verbal/written communication skills are essential
• Highly collaborative and being a good team player
• Organized, priority-focused, dynamic, open-minded, independent, resourceful
• Capable of finding creative solutions and thinking outside the box
• Strong analytical skills as well as great attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure of deadlines
• Excellent knowledge in Google Suite
