We are looking for a passionate and energetic Office Manager to become the go-to person for all office management operations in our state-of-the-art facility and manage our Menlo Park facilities and ensure employee happiness is maximized at all times. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work cross-functionally between many departments to help keep our office. The Office Manager position is an onsite position and reports to the Senior Director of Supply Chain.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage daily office operations and guest experience
- Contribute to and collaborate with the team by assisting in the day-to-day operations of a rapidly growing molecular diagnostics lab’s office space
- Responsible for maintaining, ordering, and stocking of snacks and office supplies
- Greet and direct visitors to BillionToOne in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating building tours, interviews, and company site visits
- Partners cross functionally and support event planning and culture initiatives
- Help to streamline processes and set-up systems that keep a fast-growing company operating efficiently
- Maintain relationships with breakroom & office supply vendors and serve as the primary point of contact across various functions
- Assist with creating and executing a calendar of creative employee appreciation events (birthdays, anniversaries)
- Liaise with business leaders and key stakeholders to support people team initiatives and new hire on-boarding (temp badge access, office tours, etc.)
- Advance other activities within the company as needed

Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience managing an office with a fast paced environment with over 100 employees
- You embody our culture of kindness and ambition and are excited by the challenge of making an office an incredible place for our employees to gather and work
- You have a strong sense of initiative, interested in growing and taking on projects outside of scope
- You have the ability to collaborate well cross functionally to improve office operations
- You have excellent communication skills, in verbal and written form (i.e., clarity of thought, structured, rigorous)
- You're comfortable with ambiguity
- You have a track record of managing offices efficiently and seamlessly
- You like to go above and beyond and are eager to learn new things
- Knowledge of Slack, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Ability to lift 25 pounds

At BillionToOne, we are proud to offer a combination of a (1) base pay range (actual amount offered is based on experience and salary/equity options split that the candidate chooses), (2) generous equity options offering, (3) corporate bonus program, on top of (4) industry leading company benefits (free healthcare options, 401k match, very generous fully paid parental leave, etc.).
For this position, we offer a total compensation package of $98,427 per year, including a base pay of $80,388 per year.
