First Entertainment Credit Union is looking for an Office Coordinator who will provide administrative support to our mail room services, facilities and teammate experience. As the Office Coordinator, you will provide timely support to the Credit Union’s mail room operation which entails department and branch communication distribution, office deliveries, and record retention and destruction. The ideal candidate is someone who appreciates structured processes and compliance as well as an individual who enjoys facilitating operation efficiency.

 

This is a full-time, onsite opportunity reporting to the Manager, Facilities and is based in Hollywood, CA. The targeted pay for this role in California is between $23~$28 per hour.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Administer corporate shipping processes and general office‑supply procurement in a timely manner.
  • Partner with the courier service to ensure all mail is received and delivered to the appropriate locations and personnel.
  • Oversee timely record retention and destruction (Iron Mountain).
  • Oversee all incoming package deliveries and maintain accurate daily logs.
  • Ensure necessary office, branch, and marketing supplies are readily available; conduct inventory audits and process orders as needed.
  • Manage the branch and member record‑retention and destruction processes.
  • Oversee staff dining areas, ensuring supplies and the environment meet established standards.
  • Support other departments with incoming and outgoing member mail and checks.
  • Support and enhance the new‑hire onboarding experience, including badge access, first‑day refreshments, and other welcome‑related tasks.
  • Manage employee offboarding logistics, including property retrieval, recordkeeping, and building‑access removal.
  • Provide support for teammate life events such as births, bereavement, and emergencies.
  • Maintain updated content on the company’s employer‑branding website page.
  • Provide backup facilities support, including janitorial services for corporate buildings, business‑development activities, and corporate special events.
  • Process monthly corporate credit‑card reconciliations accurately and on time.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements

 

  • High school graduate, two-year college degree or equivalent preferred, or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
  • A minimum of 1 year of related work experience required.
  • Ability to limit up to 25 lbs.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of audience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products on a daily basis (Word, Excel, Outlook).
