Job Title: Project Manager, Global Services NPDI Department: Global Services PMO 

Location: Global Reports to: Senior Manager, Global Services PMO


 Brief Job Description 

As a Project Manager within the Global Services PMO, you will support the execution of New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI) initiatives, along with select digital and service transformation programs. This role is responsible for ensuring service requirements are effectively integrated into product development and launch activities, enabling readiness, scalability, and successful global deployment. 

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Regional Services to coordinate deliverables across the NPDI lifecycle. The role requires strong execution discipline, structured project management capability, and the ability to operate in a global matrix environment. 

You will contribute to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to Global Services objectives, while supporting continuous improvement of PMO processes and governance.


Key Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria 

Project Execution & Delivery (40%) 

• Support planning and execution of NPDI and digital services projects using established PMO and Vertiv Operating System (VOS) frameworks. 

• Track and manage project schedules, deliverables, risks, and dependencies across cross-functional teams.

 • Ensure service readiness requirements (e.g., documentation, training, enablement, cost inputs) are incorporated into project deliverables.

 • Support stage-gate governance activities from concept through launch and post launch readiness. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication (25%) 

• Act as a liaison between Global Services and functional teams to support alignment across Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Regional Services.

 • Facilitate communication across global stakeholders to ensure visibility of project status, risks, and dependencies.

 • Assist in preparing project updates, dashboards, and executive status reports.

 • Support regional coordination to ensure readiness requirements reflect deployment needs. Process & Continuous Improvement (20%) • Contribute to standardization of PMO tools, templates, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability. 

• Support adoption of digital tools for project tracking, reporting, and service readiness.

 • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen NPDI service integration and execution consistency. Data Tracking & Governance Support (15%)

 • Maintain accurate project tracking using PMO tools and reporting systems (e.g., Power BI, Smartsheet, MS Project).

 • Support monitoring of project KPIs including schedule adherence, readiness milestones, and risk escalation tracking.

 • Assist in documenting lessons learned and supporting governance updates within the PMO framework. Qualifications Required / Minimum 


Qualifications 

• 3–6 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles within a global or matrix organization.

 • Exposure to product development, service development, or NPDI-type environments preferred.

 • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field. 

• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project tracking tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, etc.) preferred.

 • Ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones. 


Preferred Qualifications

 • PMP, CAPM, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

 • Exposure to digital transformation or service enablement initiatives. 

• Experience working in structured PMO environments.

 • Strong analytical and reporting skills (Power BI exposure a plus).

 • Additional languages beneficial in a global role. 


Travel Requirements Up to 10–1

5% international travel may be required depending on project needs and global coordination requirements.
