The Partnership Director will drive Insider One’s growth through supporting formation and management of mutually beneficial commercial relationships with Insider One’s channel partners in North America.
You will work cross-functionally across marketing, sales, onboarding and customer success teams, to help in the execution of go-to-market strategies and programs to drive selection, onboarding and enablement, and drive GTM with ISVs (e.g., AWS, Shopify, Snowflake, Treasure Data, Databricks, Meta, etc.) in your region. This role requires a thorough understanding of Insider One’s product capabilities, sales processes and partner ecosystem to ensure our go-to-market engine is primed and enabled to collaborate with strategic partners and drive mutual growth.
Responsibilities are categorized into two broad categories - Onboarding and Transacting with the Partners driving both Referrals from the partners and co-selling with them.
The ideal candidate enjoys new challenges that test their organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills. They flourish in a team environment and work enthusiastically with colleagues outside the immediate team to achieve organizational goals.
What You Will Need
- BS/BA degree required
- 10+ years of experience in partner sales and business development
- Proven leadership experience within a SaaS company, managing relationships with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with both large and emerging channel partners
- High analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand complex issues and create simplifying frameworks that support company-wide understanding, decision-making, and action
- Deep understanding of Solution Selling
- Strong output orientation, with the ability to independently create high-quality, customer-facing content (presentations, datasheets, etc.)
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines
- Experience with B2B SaaS (Software as a Service) business models
- Experience in the marketing technology space is preferred, but not required
What You Will Do
- Develop and strengthen commercial relationships with strategic technology partners (ISVs) across the region
- Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing teams to build a deep understanding of the joint value proposition for each strategic technology partner
- Enable Insider One’s regional sales and customer success teams on partner offerings and joint value propositions
- Work closely with partners to ensure their sales and customer success teams gain a strong understanding of Insider One’s platform and the joint value proposition
- Build and manage regional business plans to drive revenue through and with strategic technology partners
- Partner with regional sales teams to support new acquisitions and expansions, leveraging strategic technology partners
- Generate leads and manage pipeline created through and with technology partners
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Onboarding, Customer Success) to grow and strengthen the Channels function
- Leverage technology partners to elevate Insider One’s brand visibility and market presence in the region
- Work with regional field marketing to involve technology partners in co-marketing initiatives, including Insider One vents and industry trade shows
- Collaborate with Insider One’s global offices to enhance partnership practices, expand partner portfolios, create go-to-market plans, and drive joint expansion opportunities
