Owlet is changing the world of parenting with meaningful products that truly make a difference for millions around the world by bringing joy, peace and sleep to the parenting journey. Owlet has helped more than a million parents keep their children safe. We are focused on helping parents take care of their little ones so we can keep every baby safe and healthy.

We're looking for someone comfortable working inside NetSuite's supply chain and planning tools on a day-to-day basis. This is a hands-on execution role, not a configuration, implementation, or SuiteScript development role — we need someone who already knows how to navigate the system and run planning and supply chain tasks efficiently. This is a contract engagement supporting the Supply Planning Manager while Owlet's NetSuite process automation initiative is underway, providing execution bandwidth on planning and purchasing tasks in the near term.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Demand & Supply Planning Execution

  • Monitor and adjust reorder points and safety stock levels in Adaptive

Purchase Order & Vendor Management

  • Create and manage purchase orders, including tracking and follow-up with vendors
  • Provide light coordination with vendors/suppliers on order status

Item & Data Maintenance

  • Maintain item records related to planning, including lead times, reorder quantities, and vendor information
  • Manage all transactions in NetSuite for outbound shipments including receipts
  • Create inbounds and Transfer Orders (TOs) in NetSuite based on confirmed ship dates from our suppliers

Reporting & Issue Escalation

  • Pull and interpret saved searches and reports related to inventory and supply chain
  • Flag discrepancies or issues to the internal team for resolution

Requirements
  • Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on, practical experience navigating NetSuite
  • Specific experience with NetSuite's supply chain and/or planning modules — not just general ERP/admin exposure
  • Comfortable working independently once trained on Owlet's specific processes
  • Reliable daily availability with at least 3–4 hours overlapping with U.S. business hours

Nice to Have

  • Background in supply chain, procurement, or inventory planning (even outside NetSuite) — supply chain fluency matters more than deep platform expertise
  • Experience with saved searches and basic reporting in NetSuite

Benefits
  • Duration: 6–9 months, with possibility of extension
  • Hours: Part Time- 30 hours per week
  • Rate:$25–$45/hr USD depending on experience and location

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
