As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, team leadership, junior team member development, and participation in business development activities. What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of client‑facing program and project management artifacts for NetSuite implementations, with a strong focus on Private Equity environments. This role serves as the central point of coordination across clients, delivery teams, and leadership, ensuring projects remain on track, risks are proactively managed, and issues are effectively de‑escalated.
- Bring a balance of project management discipline, technical understanding, and interpersonal skills that enable you to manage the complexity, ambiguity, and accelerated timelines common in PE‑backed transformations.
- Leverage technical expertise to understand NetSuite scope, dependencies, and delivery impacts; collaborate with functional and technical leads to drive realistic planning and execution; and translate technical updates into clear, actionable communications for client stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and constraints by developing mitigation plans and leading issue resolution and de‑escalation efforts to protect scope, timelines, delivery quality, and client confidence.
- Act as the executive‑facing lead for project communications, owning stakeholder engagement, executive status discussions, and translating of complex topics for both technical and business audiences.
- Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
- Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
- Foster business development opportunities by networking with existing clients, participating in proposal teams to secure new client work, and generating leads from networks outside current client engagements.
- Mentor team members by coaching colleagues, providing regular ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews, and helping project teams resolve multifaceted issues.
- Play an active role in attracting, interviewing, hiring, and retaining top talent.
What You'll Bring:
- 7+ years of prior NetSuite experience in a professional services environment, with 2+ years of recent experience advising Private Equity and/or PE-backed clients.
- Demonstrated experience working with clients to roll out NetSuite and related systems, partner add-ons, or other technologies within a single overall program plan.
- Prior experience using one or more of the following tools: NetSuite, Acumatica, SAP, MS Dynamics.
- Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
- Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed; travel varies based on client preferences.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and helping project teams resolve multifaceted issues.
- Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in CIS, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- PMP certified
