Job Duties and Responsibilities
Our Retail Wireless Partnerships team is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager over National Accounts to support growth and expansion in retail partners. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, account management, operations, be results driven, communicate effectively, and have a high level of energy and strong organizational skills.
The Business Development Manager will be working both internally with executives, business development, product, design, logistics, inventory, marketing, customer experience, and legal teams as well as with external retail partners; from the initial discussion through launch and ongoing management of the retailer. This role will require exceptional channel management, organizational and communication skills, and a high business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and grow relationships with new and existing retail partners
- Manage all aspects of new retailer and new product launches including negotiations, contracts, compensation approvals, inventory planning, sales forecasting, IT project management, marketing, merchandising, systems setups, and launch logistics
- Build strong relationship with internal partner groups in Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Merchandising, Field Sales Operations, and Customer Care
- Build long-term, productive relationships with sales managers at national retailer partners and leverage those ties to grow in-store and .com footprints
- Understand analytics and reporting needs and use data to drive decisions
- Work with management to identify business needs, challenges and opportunities
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing National Retail sales and operations at the corporate level (this is not a field-focused role)
- Experience opening new stores and/or involvement in 3rd party dealer store programs
- Previous Business Development Experience in wireless preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and product expansion in a retail environment
- A track record of identifying expansion opportunities and existing channel gaps and proactively driving sales and activations
- Excellent organizational, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources and work well in a distributed environment
- Experience in the wireless industry a plus
- Knowledge of National Retail systems and processes
- Strong data and analytical skills
- Experiencing managing sell in and sell through in large National Retail accounts
