Job Description:

   

HPE North America Storage is seeking an experienced sales leader to lead the Enterprise West Storage business. The NA Storage, Enterprise West Leader will be responsible for driving profitable growth across a portfolio of strategic enterprise customers while leading a high-performing sales organization focused on revenue attainment, customer success, talent development, and partner engagement.

Locations: Open to candidates able to work in California and Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while attracting and retaining top talent.

  • Sales Execution: Drive revenue growth, forecast accuracy, and business performance across the Enterprise West region. Execute strategies that expand market share and accelerate customer adoption of HPE solutions.

  • Customer Engagement: Build trusted relationships with senior customer leaders and serve as a strategic advisor on business and technology initiatives. Engage directly in key opportunities and complex enterprise pursuits.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute regional growth plans, optimize account coverage, and align resources to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.

  • Partner & Ecosystem Collaboration: Work closely with channel partners, alliances, and internal stakeholders to drive customer success and expand business opportunities.

  • Business Management: Establish a disciplined operating cadence that includes pipeline reviews, forecast inspection, account planning, and performance management. Use data and leading indicators to identify risks, remove barriers, and hold the organization accountable for commitments.

  • Solution Selling: Lead consultative sales motions that address customer challenges, create business value, and position HPE as a strategic technology partner.

  • Financial Leadership: Own regional revenue, profitability, investment, and expense decisions. Balance near-term performance with long-term growth while ensuring resources are deployed against the highest-value opportunities.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven success leading enterprise sales organizations and developing high-performing teams.

  • Strong background in infrastructure, storage, data, cloud, or enterprise technology solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to build executive-level customer and partner relationships.

  • Track record of delivering revenue growth and leading complex, transformational sales opportunities.

  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities.

  • Experience leveraging partner and channel ecosystems to drive business results.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of technology industry sales experience. Experience with storage, compute, networking, or broader data center infrastructure is highly desirable.

  • 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience.

  • Proven success growing a business, expanding market share, and delivering revenue results.

  • Experience selling into large enterprise accounts and managing complex sales environments.

– United States of America: Annual Salary USD 269,000 - 573,000 in California // 236,500 - 573,000 in Washington
This range reflects the minimum to maximum combined base and target-level sales compensation that would be paid if the hire performs at 100% of their sales plan. Of that on-target pay amount, the mix of base salary and target-level sales compensation is 60%/40%."
