About Us

At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive “sick-care” to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against “we caught it too late again".

Prenuvo is seeking a creative, thoughtful, and dynamic individual to join our Design and Creative team as a Motion Designer. In this role, you will craft compelling kinetic experiences that elevate both our brand and product ecosystem. You'll work alongside Brand Designers, UXDesigners, Engineers, and Marketing partners to create motion that informs, promotes, and strengthens user engagement. If you are passionate about storytelling through movement, deeply curious about human-centered design, and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment, we'd love to meet you.

Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people’s lives!

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain scalable motion design systems, guidelines, and libraries bridging motion and static brand design that ensure a consistent visual language across products and platforms.
  • Concept, design, and animate original motion assets for a wide range of digital touchpoints—campaigns, product explainers, videos, web, social media, and events
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, engaging kinetic narratives.
  • Create storyboards, styleframes, and prototypes to communicate motion design ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with creative, brand, and marketing teams to develop integrated visual storytelling
  • Partner with UX/UI designers to ideate and deliver product animations, micro-interactions, animated flows, and motion-enhanced prototypes.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineers to ensure smooth handoff and implementation of motion assets, and problem-solve for feasibility within platform constraints.
  • Stay current with trends in motion design, prototyping tools, interaction design, and animation technology and AI tools and toolsets.
  • Source, brief, and art-direct external motion vendors and freelancers

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years of professional motion design experience, ideally within a product, agency, or tech environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of motion design work—from polished explainers to playful social content
  • Proficiency in tools such as After Effects, Figma, Principle, Lottie, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent.
  • Experience with 3D tools like Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus
  • Understanding of UX/UI fundamentals and how motion enhances usability and brand storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communication skills and comfort presenting work to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with brand systems and how motion supports a broader design language
  • Strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and editing
  • Comfortable working independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with front-end implementation of motion (CSS animations, React libraries like Framer Motion) is a plus. As is consumer marketing experience in healthcare, heathTech, and/or medTech.

  • We believe in preventative healthcare for everyone, including our team - Prenuvo provides free, whole-body scans to each team member
  • Growth opportunities are at the heart of our people journey, we’re doing big things with bright minds - there is no single path to success, it can be shaped along the way

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
