Lead a Montessori classroom by implementing the Montessori curriculum, facilitating engaging learning experiences, observing and assessing children, communicating with families, following licensing and school standards, and completing ongoing professional development. The role requires Montessori certification, knowledge of early childhood development, and compliance with state education requirements.
Leading a classroom takes a special kind of skill. Montessori Certified Guides have been uniquely trained to deliver an authentic Montessori experience, encouraging children to be innovative and independent.
As a Montessori Certified Guide you are an expert in:
- Sharing An Authentic Montessori Experience: Implement the Montessori curriculum and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences.
- Policies and Procedures: Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Teaching and Communicating: Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
- Gaining Knowledge: Complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics.
We want joyful, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:
- Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program (MACTE preferred).
- Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school or related field, and previous lead teacher experience preferred.
- Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
- Montessori Guide- $24.63-$25.59
- Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers
- Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and child care discount available to all employees
- Monday through Friday work week.
