At Kalderos, we are building unifying technologies that bring transparency, trust, and equity to the entire healthcare community with a focus on pharmaceutical pricing. Our success is measured when we can empower all of healthcare to focus more on improving the health of people.
That success is driven by Kalderos’ greatest asset, our people. Our team thrives on the problems that we solve, is driven to innovate, and thrives on the feedback of their peers. Our team is passionate about what they do, and we are looking for people to join our company and our mission.
That’s where you come in! As a contract Business Analyst, you’ll be the connective tissue between Kalderos and our enterprise clients, leading pharmaceutical manufacturers—translating business goals into a clear, testable path to value in Model N. By sharpening implementation plans and elevating SIT/UAT quality, you will reduce risk and rework, accelerate time‑to‑value, and strengthen compliance across the Medicaid Drug Rebate and 340B domains. Your work will drive higher test coverage with fewer duplicates, audit‑ready traceability, and clearer decision visibility—giving business leaders confidence in go‑live and smoother downstream operations.
- Serve as a client‑facing Business Analyst with Kalderos, interfacing with pharma manufacturers to understand Model N implementation needs
- Gather and document business implementation requirements related to gross-to-net (GTN), chargebacks, rebates, and pricing
- Review implementation plans and configuration approaches for alignment with business requirements; identify risks, dependencies, and assumptions
- Review SIT and UAT test plans; augment with detailed steps, input data, expected results/verification, pre‑reqs, and environment notes
- Build scenario matrices for Medicaid programs, product/state eligibility, effective dating, and URA/formula behaviors; add missing tests, merge duplicates, and optimize sequencing
- Perform test data checks and tie‑outs to confirm test readiness; coordinate with teams to resolve data/config gaps and track issue closure
- Maintain core artifacts as needed: test plans, scenario catalogs, traceability matrices, decision/RAID logs; ensure version control and auditability
- Support SIT/UAT planning (entry/exit criteria, coverage, roles) and consult during execution; assist with defect triage/prioritization without leading test runs
- Advise on OOTB vs. configuration options in Model N to meet business needs and Medicaid Drug Rebate Program compliance
- Training: Identify opportunities to incorporate Model N, rebate program best practices from a process perspective and provide ongoing training/ reinforcement to team members
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with and participate in a regular cadence of status check-ins with Kalderos’ Customer Success Team Lead, which will ladder up to status updates to manufacturers
- Provide insight with in-depth analytics and reporting to internal and external parties
- 3–5 years as a client‑facing BA/consultant in pharma market access, government pricing/rebates, or contracting, with hands‑on Model N experience. You’re a generalist in the gross-to-net space.
- Working knowledge of the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, 340B, and how manufacturer Market Access teams operate
- Adequate technical fluency: navigate configurations, interpret validations/errors, and work with structured import/export files
- Strong requirements discipline: write clear requirements and acceptance criteria, design robust test cases, and maintain requirements‑to‑test traceability
- Analytical ability to validate rules, calculations, and bounds (URA inputs/rounding, effective dating, state/product eligibility) and distinguish data vs. configuration defects
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to clarify complex topics simply for both business and technical audiences; strong cross‑team collaboration
- Self-starting, hands‑on analyst with ownership and follow‑through
- High attention to detail and structured problem solving; comfortable with triage, prioritization, and iterative validation/UAT in fast‑moving implementations
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills
- Collaborative team player
- Professional company representative with the ability to present complex information clearly and with confidence
