Job Description

  

Drive growth in military aviation solutions with Teledyne Controls! For decades, we’ve delivered advanced avionics and data management technologies trusted by defense and government operators worldwide. As Military Sales Director, you’ll lead strategies to expand our government business, capture new opportunities, and secure multi-million-dollar contracts for mission-critical programs.

What you’ll do
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for U.S. and international government markets
  • Lead opportunity capture and proposal efforts for avionics and SaaS solutions
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with DoD and military stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary customer contact and represent Teledyne at industry events
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing in collaboration with internal teams
  • Generate market analysis and insights to support growth initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful program execution
What you need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technical, or related discipline (required)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in military/government sales or avionics programs (required)
  • Proven success in capturing and managing large-scale DoD/government contracts (required)
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and FAR/DFARS compliance (required)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (required)
  • Advanced degree (advantage)
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and forecasting tools (advantage)

Salary Range:

$120,300.00-$160,400.000

Pay Transparency

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
