Position Responsibilities:
- Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture
- Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems
- Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems
- Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements
- Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Active CompTIA Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements), and/or the ability to obtain post-hire (required)
- 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2022 - 2025 and Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 11
- 3+ years of experience with designing & implementing Windows Systems
- Experience troubleshooting operating system and installation problems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
- 3+ years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support
- 3+ years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems
- 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware
- 3+ years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating system problems and resolution
- 3+ years of experience integrating security solutions (e.g. Splunk) into information systems
