Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Level 3 or 4) to drive FOD prevention activities and support the Apache Operations in Mesa, AZ.
Position Overview:
  • The Operations Analyst will be a part of a high-performing team that are immersed in the development projects driving Manufacturing to Excellence.
  • Work in support of understanding FOD activities including Investigation, Root cause analysis, and Prevention.
  • This role will include working with multiple teams from multiple disciplines, which requires strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Required to interact with stakeholders and customers on project updates and prevention activities.
  • Ability to perform RCCA or BPSM to address systemic issues.
  • Ideal candidate will have strong data analysis and communication skills.
  • Candidate must have aerospace and/or aircraft experience.

Position Responsibilities:
  • High attention to details to ensure accurate information is being developed and shared.
  • Ensures accurate deliverables and maintains results and communicates to all participants.
  • Summarizes complex issues, develops creative solutions and coordination of resolutions.
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
  • Analyzes and interprets data.
  • Provides feedback on assessment results.
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Must have 3+ years of experience with aerospace and/or aircraft experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership.
  • Experience with RCCA (Root cause corrective action analysis) or problem-solving methodology.
  • Experience working with large data sets using advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with performing data analysis and/or reporting.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Salary Pay Range:
Mid-Level (Level 3): $90,950 - $123,050
Senior Level (Level 4) $111,350 - $150,650
