To continue to further accelerate and steward this growth, we are seeking a Mid Level Full Stack Developer on our expanding tech team. This role will be critical to MDCalc’s expanded success in continuing to support our millions of clinical users worldwide in taking care of hundreds of millions of patients.
The RoleContribute as an integral member of the development team, helping deliver high-quality software products.
Take ownership of your work and see projects through to completion.
Collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical teammates to ensure timely delivery of features and fixes.
Participate in architecture and design discussions, offering input that supports system scalability and performance.
Follow and promote software engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, documentation, and adherence to code quality standards.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proficiency in React, React Native, NextJS, Express, and Postgres with experience building scalable, distributed systems and web applications.
Experience with the following:
Consumer/Public Websites, Mobile Applications, Amazon AWS
Terraform, Go, Docker, and BitBucket
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and dive into the details when needed.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles and system architecture concepts, with the ability to contribute to refining product specs and tickets.
Curiosity and willingness to grow within the role.
Knowledge of the healthcare industry and prior experience working in health tech is a plus.
