Position Summary

The Copywriter is an integral part of the Marketing Team, where they will create engaging content that builds brand awareness and drives leads. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role is ultimately responsible for supporting VGV as the industry leader in Flutter and beyond by building and managing brand content, and assisting with the build of the content calendar and strategy. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, communicator, and brand positioning expert with experience in building integrated content, campaigns, and programs. This role is a key team contributor who effectively manages various stakeholders, both internally and client-facing, to create clear, concise, and effective content.


Key Responsibilities


  • Content Creation:
    • Ideate, write, proof, and edit content for VGV’s blog, social media, website, emails, case studies, whitepapers, sales collateral, marketing campaigns, and more. 
    • Align content with SEO strategy, keyword targets, and ABM strategies for key verticals and ICPs.
    • Create content for paid and organic advertising campaigns.
    • Interview and partner with internal and external sources, subject matter experts, and industry leaders to produce thought leadership content, including blogs, podcasts, webinars, and whitepapers. 
    • Assist Program Marketing with social media posting and reporting. 

Content Calendar Management:

    • Assist with the build and management of the VGV content calendar, including determining topics for Marketing, Sales, HR/People, and clients
    • Align content timing with events, client launches, technology releases, and industry news.
    • Manage the Lytho Content Management Hub (Divvy).

Content Strategy Support:

    • Update and assist with the management of the Brand Voice Guide and overall brand identity. 
    • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track content KPIs and performance metrics.
    • Support the creation of press releases and media materials as needed.

  • Vendor Support: Support the vetting and management of content vendors and contractors. 

Qualifications


  • Experience: 5+ years experience in content creation, management, strategy, technical writing, and marketing.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear and concise messaging across internal and external teams. 
  • Digital agency experience.

Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to support and own key parts of the content strategy, collaborate with team and company leadership, and manage strategic brand initiatives. Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate, partner, and influence across marketing verticals, company departments, and third-party agencies and vendors. 

Accountable for:


  1. Delivery of branded content, processes, and performance reporting. 
  2. Supporting and overseeing content marketing strategies, the content calendar, and the content vertical.
  3. Assisting with content vendor, contractor, client, and partner management. 

Total Rewards

VGV supports employee growth personally and professionally through a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The initial annual base salary for this position is expected to range from $65k-$85k, benchmarked against comparable roles and locations. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
