Sr. Marketing Operations Specialist (Remote US)

The Sr. Marketing Operations Specialist functions as the key operations support within GumGum’s Marketing division to help guide the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. This role works closely with stakeholders across Marketing and Revenue Operations to ensure the effective measurement and execution of a wide variety of marketing campaigns. The Sr. Marketing Operations Specialist will also ensure we have a high-quality operational foundation for global marketing - leading all operational execution for our marketing systems, data reporting, and process efficiency.
Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Global Marketing Operations, this role will wear many hats - lead lifecycle management, analytics support, database maintenance, finance & contract processes, running our sales and marketing tech stack, improving efficiencies and our day to day operations. You’ll help us make strategic, data-informed decisions by evaluating our marketing funnel and campaigns, and we’ll look to you to be responsible for components of our marketing tech stack (especially Hubspot!)—helping us to execute on campaigns and finding efficient ways to improve and drive campaign performance. This role is integral in the Marketing Ops Team - working to balance the needs of the organization today, while looking ahead at how tools and technology can help us grow as we scale.

Responsibilities
- Data & Reporting
- Collaborate with the marketing team and actively seek cross-functional team’s feedback to monitor, review, develop, and optimize campaign performance
- Lead and manage operational execution for our marketing systems and reporting
- Oversee the day-to-day management of data capture, governance, analysis, derived insights, and measurement, especially within Salesforce and Hubspot to ensure property data integrity
- Marketing Systems, Programs & Processes
- Build and execute on tactics for the deployment of marketing programs using our Martech stack (Hubspot, Salesforce, Splash, etc.)
- Drive and maintain marketing automation processes, procedures, SLA’s, and technical processes and workflows
- Build, maintain, and support key operational processes, such as lead scoring and routing
- Support general marketing team operations including maintenance of files, drives, and documents across the Marketing team, driving efficiencies and integrating automations to drive scale across the team
- Well-versed in building effective processes that improve cross-team collaboration
- Cross-functional Collaboration + Stakeholder Engagement
- Work collaboratively with the revenue operations team on ensuring lead handoff and processes within the sales teams
- Function as a strategic thinker who can help drive growth, as well as handle key projects as our technology administrator.
- Budget management including invoicing, expenses management, and working cross-functionally with accounting, legal and procurement
- Independently forms cross-team discussions and directs deliverables, deadlines and hand-offs effectively
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience
- 4-5+ years of work experience, ideally with a mix of experiences across marketing in high growth companies (preferably tech)
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with CRM and marketing platforms (Salesforce, Splash, and Hubspot)
- Experience monitoring & analyzing reporting to recommend optimizations for marketing programs
- Analytical mindset; detail-oriented and passionate about working with a fast-growing, global marketing team.
- Capable of translating data into meaningful insights.
- An ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments and disciplines.
- Experience analyzing data and suggesting performance improvements, including a track record of sharing insights with cross functional leadership teams.
- Independently forms cross-team discussions and directs deliverables, deadlines and hand-offs effectively
- Strong verbal communication, presentation and written skills to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
- Excellent project management skills
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Proficient in CRM and Marketing automation platforms
