We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Brand Marketer (AR / Camera Platform) to join Team Snapchat! As a member of the Marketing team, you will lead initiatives to build a community, engage audiences, and develop marketing activations that build passion and user engagement around Camera Platform and Snapchat’s AR ecosystem, inclusive of Snap’s Lens Studio product. Lens Studio, the tool used by creators for the world’s most used augmented reality platform, invites artists, students, developers, animators, and more to unleash their creativity — and share it with the 70+ million people who play with Lenses on Snapchat every single day!
Leveraging consumer insights, you will also develop marketing plans and strategies to connect with, build, and amplify creators and users through Snap’s owned and operated channels. You will partner with internal teams such as Product, Design, Growth, Communications and Partnerships to identify opportunities and solutions to support our brand goals. Working from our Santa Monica, CA, headquarters, you’ll focus on bringing together resources from inside and outside the marketing organization to achieve team goals — that includes cross-functional team leadership, program management, and delivering outstanding customer service to all stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
Build and execute a full year consumer marketing plans across owned, earned and paid channels.
Partner with key stakeholders and the overall marketing team to plan, manage, and oversee the execution of marketing initiatives
Work closely with the Lens Studio team to provide consumer insights, marketing strategy and ongoing executional support
Help the team develop big and inspiring creative ideas that support the goals of Camera Platform and Lens Studio
Establish deadlines and milestones related to team goals, initiatives, and projects
Communicate and resolve issues that can impact the on-time delivery of projects
Facilitate relationship between teams, drive projects forward, and effectively allocate resources
Prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions
Monitor, analyze, and measure the effectiveness of brand and consumer marketing initiatives to develop insights and make recommendations
Coordinate resources across multiple projects, initiatives, and teams
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing experience
Experience in AR, VR or related field
8+ years experience in an integrated marketing leadership role for consumer brands
5+ years experience working on consumer technology brands/products
Experience leading cross-functional teams, either formally through reporting structure or informally through influence
Experience working across marketing channels - paid, owned, earned, broadcast & digital
Experience demonstrating the return of marketing investment in the short- and long-term
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to internally navigate complex organizations
Digital platform / app marketing experience
Strategic thinker who enjoys obsessing over consumer behavior to identify new ways to connect with consumers / future users
A track record of success in both domestic and global marketing roles
Superior customer service mentality and ability to maximize internal and stakeholder relationships across teams to plan and drive business goals
Able to tactfully bridge priorities between different stakeholders
A creative thinker who has lots of ideas and sees solutions when most would not
A passion for Snapchat and creativity!
