The Role

As our Senior, Social Media Manager, you will play a critical role in spreading our mission, and elevating customer stories. You will work closely with the Head of Social & Influencers to build an innovative social media strategy, and be responsible for content creation and management of our social media channels. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing health and wellness brand, and play a role in improving access to quality care.

Responsibilities 

• Work closely with our Head of Social & Influencer Marketing to expand upon our social media presence across channels, including emerging channels
• Work closely with Creative, Brand, PR and Events to prepare for upcoming campaigns, events and promotions 
• Work with Heads of Social, Brand and Creative to ensure social creative is on-brand, visually appealing, and meets all social sizing & specification requirements
• Test and learn mentality, testing of frequency, timing and content type optimization (visual content, hashtag keywords, use of emojis etc.) to keep improving social performance
• Help manage our influencer marketing program, including relationship building, outreach and partner management
• Manage the scheduling of content to align with social media calendar, business goals and objectives, manage scheduling tool and project management in Asana
• Write engaging social captions and copy in the SimplePractice brand voice 
• Improve social media presence on all social media platforms by responding and engaging with customers in the SimplePractice voice, in real time
• Ability to review and report on social media analytics and performance across channels, comfortable presenting results to the wider Marketing group
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends, hashtags, memes, and creative content formats, and identify rising topics of interest in the health and wellness space
• Attend and generate social media engagement at live events

Desired Skills & Experience 

• 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with minimum 3+ social media marketing
• Experience managing social media brand presence across all channels, including TikTok
• Strong writer, able to generate impactful caption copy
• Extreme attention to detail and eagle eye for catching errors (spelling errors, grammar, incorrect dates, complex language, acronyms that need defining, etc.). 
• Experience collaborating with other marketing functions, such as Creative, Events, and PR 
• Excellent eye for design / creative that pops
• Comfortable getting scrappy with creative - shooting footage, and editing as needed in Canva
• Willing to travel to conferences and events, experience overseeing social media at live / virtual brand events
• Strong experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Later
• Preferred: Health and wellness social media experience
• Preferred: Experience sourcing and working directly with social media influencers
• Preferred: Experience with Google Analytics or other tools to measure social impact on website traffic
