Sr. Manager, Consumer & Brand Marketing
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Consumer & Brand Marketing to join Team Snapchat! In this role, you’ll be a key strategic and cross-functional partner for the company’s core 3 pillars: Snapchat, Spectacles and Camera Platform. You will be responsible for leading a team to develop marketing campaigns and activations that will build passion and engagement around Snap’s brands and products globally. Leveraging consumer insights, you will also develop content, editorial, and partner strategies to connect with, build, and amplify communities and audiences through Snap’s owned and operated channels.
What you’ll do:
Build and execute a full year consumer marketing plan for each of the 3 platforms across owned, earned and paid channels.
Develop and implement effective content and community building strategies to drive and engage Snap audiences on all owned and operated channels.
Analyze consumer and audience insights to translate them into marketing, community development, and/or growth strategies.
Work collaboratively with the GTM teams to develop communications and content strategies and execute creative ideas and plans across business units.
Partner with the internal creative teams and external agencies to plan, manage, and oversee the execution of brand marketing deliverables.
Facilitate relationship between teams, drive projects forward, and effectively allocate resources
Monitor, analyze, and measure the effectiveness of brand and consumer marketing initiatives to develop insights and make recommendations.
Coach and develop the brand marketing team to build functional and leadership capabilities, and aid in their career development.
Minimum qualifications:
10+ years of experience in brand strategy and consumer marketing
Experience leading and developing teams
Experience building content programs and engaging with communities
Fluency in marketing KPIs and best practices, including fully integrated campaigns
A superb track record for project management and execution
Demonstrated experience managing budgets and external vendors
Demonstrated experience driving business results
Preferred qualifications:
Strong managerial skills with the ability to internally navigate complex organizations
Experience building and executing an “always on” content strategy
Experience across the entire content marketing process, from needs assessment through measurement
Strategic thinker who enjoys obsessing over consumer behavior to identify new ways to connect with consumers / future users
Experience managing third party agencies and cross functional teams.
A track record of success in both domestic and international marketing roles
Superior customer service mentality and ability to maximize internal and stakeholder relationships across teams to plan and drive business goals
Able to tactfully bridge priorities between different stakeholders
