Senior Ad Review Specialist

We’re looking for a Senior Ad Review Specialist to join Team Snapchat! Working closely with the Customer Operations teams. As a member of the Ad Review team, you will ensure quality review and approval of Snap Ads submissions. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with the Business Support team, Global Online Sales team, and with Snap vendors to help create consistent and seamless review experience for Snapchat partners.
What you’ll do:
- Review all Snap Ad submissions to ensure the ads abide by our creative policies and technical requirements
- Manage the approval tool queue and prioritize all Snap Ad reviews within the identified team SLAs
- Escalate questionable ads and creative trends to leadership
- Provide excellent Ad Review support on the self-serve platform
- Proactively anticipate trends and development and propose relevant new policies or changes to existing policies
- Serve as an expert regarding creative and legal guidelines for our ad products, such as Snap Ads and On-Demand Filters
- Mentor members of the Ad Review team
- Collaborate with Snap vendors to develop and deliver training to Ad Review agents
- Act as an escalation point for members of the team handling difficult and urgent ads
- Review team members’ work product and provide feedback and training if necessary
- Collaborate with the Global Online Sales team to create a consistent review experience for our Snapchat partners
- Work with the Customer Operations team to troubleshoot approval tool errors and identify workflow best practices
- Assist other Snap teams with localization and translation projects
- Advise Snap teams on matters related to culture, language, religion, and politics in the Arab world
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university
- B2B experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience within Ad Review
- Experience working with Zendesk, JIRA, or other ticket management systems
- Solid understanding of the Middle East culture
- Knowledge of digital advertising laws and trends
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English
- Flexibility to work any assigned shifts which may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
- Experience working with ad networks, brands, and performance advertisers
- Data/Analytics experience with advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
- Experience managing or mentoring team members
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work with various team members throughout the company
- Meticulous attention to detail, as well as an understanding of mobile advertising delivery processes
- Able to work independently while also operating as a collaborative team player
- Process driven individual with a proven track record of identifying gaps and implementing new processes
- Customer-driven with a passion for supporting Snapchatters
- Passion for Snapchat, and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up
