We’re looking for a Marketing Science Researcher to join the Marketing Science Research team! As a member of the Marketing Science Research team, you will conduct US vertical specific research (industry verticals range from Automotive, Entertainment, CPG, Fin-Serv, e-commerce, and Tech/Telco) to understand how Snapchatters engage with our platform, content, and advertising. Working from our Los Angeles headquarters, you’ll collaborate with sales leadership, business marketing, and our product teams to build long term US vertical research strategy and roadmap.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with Business Marketing and US Sales Leadership to identify opportunities to conduct bespoke research using first and third party data.
Develop external facing collateral to showcase best in class research and results.
Partner with Product and Industry Research teams to create holistic analytic strategies for key verticals across the US.
Provide thought leadership to internal teams for not only the output of research you conduct, but on research, measurement, and methodology at a high level.
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, psychology, sociology, or other relevant social sciences.
4+ years of experience conducting in-depth analytics within the digital ecosystem.
Proficiency in SQL and Tableau, or other relevant data query tools.
Proficiency with R, SPSS, or other relevant statistical packages.
Excellent written communication skills, with high attention to detail.
In-depth experience with BigQuery and Looker dashboards
Comprehensive understanding of digital measurement solutions (BrandLift, Offline Sales Lift, MTA, DCM, Google Analytics, Conversion Lift, MMPs, etc.)
Experience conducting external presentations to senior stakeholders
