We’re looking for a curious, solutions-oriented Marketing Operations Associate to join Team Snapchat and hit the ground running with an innate proactiveness! As part of the Marketing Operations team, you will drive cross-functional team planning and reporting, end-to-end process improvement, and technology and system implementation. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will help operationalize the Marketing team’s vision by partnering with creative and marketing teams to build an infrastructure of processes and technology that enables the Marketing team to scale and deliver more value.
What you’ll do:
Support cross-functional team planning and reporting, end-to-end process improvement, and technology and system implementation for the Marketing Dept.
Own key elements in the implementation of processes, strategies, and systems critical to quality, scale, execution, and accuracy.
Assist the process of defining and prioritizing marketing needs, project priorities, and resourcing.
Gain a good understanding of Marketing’s annual and quarterly strategic planning and OKR process.
Support maintenance of teamwide performance scorecard, capturing input metrics to measure traction towards the team’s vision, objectives and key results.
Aide maintenance of Marketing team’s budget, accrual, and variance reconciliation process, driving ongoing budget management, forecasting, accruals, and the team PO process.
Begin to analyze workflows across the marketing cycle to identify known and unknown needs.
Cultivate strong relationships at all levels of the marketing organization.
Assist in maintaining strategies for KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operational activities, such as output, quality, velocity, and burndown.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Superb verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality decks and present with confidence to senior leaders
Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Passion for data analysis and problem solving
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Great communication and interpersonal skills to work well across many stakeholders
Knowledge of the marketing process, from needs assessment through measurement
Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced setting
Intellectual curiosity, drive and proactivity
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative and/or business field such as mathematics, economics, finance, and business, or equivalent experience in a related field
2+ years experience working in Management Consulting, Marketing Operations, or a related field
Advanced proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience with marketing data, systems, and reporting and tracking tools, and the ability to provide strategic and proactive guidance.
A superb track record for project management and execution
Demonstrated experience driving business results
