Marketing Operations Analyst

We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Analyst to join Snap Inc! Working closely with the Marketing team, you will use data to understand advertiser behavior and measure the effectiveness of online and offline marketing campaigns and programs. Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you’ll analyze and produce reports to track the effectiveness of marketing efforts, build models to provide insights, identify opportunities, and measure the impact of the Marketing team’s efforts to drive revenue.
What you’ll do:
- Design and execute analyses and modeling across internal and external data sources to understand advertiser behavior, campaign effectiveness, and market insights
- Partner with Marketing team members to identify opportunities, report and monitor campaigns and programs, and analyze data to better understand our advertisers
- Identify gaps in data, create reports, and build processes to make analytics easier and more effective
- Manage, organize, and translate data into actionable insights and opportunities
- Create and maintain dashboards and datasets, synthesizing data and insights from various sources
- Establish strategies and tactics to improve the depth and quality of marketing data and analytics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to validate data accuracy and availability for use in various marketing materials
What we’re looking for:
- BA/BS degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of quantitative work experience in marketing analytics, quantitative finance, risk modeling, or similar role
- Statistical (e.g. R, SAS), quantitative modeling and forecasting experience
- Experience in manipulating large data sets using SQL and/or Python and converting them into insights that drive business decisions at all levels of the organization
- Ability to understand the implications of data analysis and build a strategic story from data for non-technical audiences at an executive level
- Experience with Google Analytics, BigQuery, Tableau, AdWords, Adobe, LookR preferred
- Enthusiastic problem solver, with a demonstrated record of thought leadership in applying data driven analysis that has a tangible impact on business operations
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills to partner cross-functionally
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
