Marketing Manager - Snap Games

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join Team Snapchat! As a member of the Marketing team, you will be responsible for building and executing integrated campaigns on- and off-Snapchat that build awareness for and deeper engagement with Snap Games & Snap Kit. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will collaborate with partners, analysts, growth leads, and cross-functional marketing partners to develop, test, and optimize messaging and creative.
Ideally, you’re an expert in digital marketing, knowledgeable about the gaming space, understand developer ecosystems, and a proactive self-starter who is constantly looking to push the envelope with innovative and fresh ideas. You are knowledgeable about the potential for experiences on Snapchat to generate connection and meaningful social interaction.
What you’ll do:
Plan, Develop & Execute Full Year Strategy Marketing Plans.
Manage the process start to finish for strategy, development and execution of year-round integrated marketing plans. This includes: Build and execute overall marketing strategy across paid, earned, and owned channels to grow consumer awareness, adoption, and usage of Snap Games and Snap Kit.
Drive funnel optimizations and specific product/feature adoption among targeted developer audiences.
Develop core product positioning and messaging for Snap Games & Snap Kit products and features, considering value proposition, target audience, competitive landscape, and other factors.
Lead and collaborate with internal and external creative teams to bring campaigns, programs and assets to life visually.
Manage and work with cross-functional teams (including PR, design, external agencies, product and engineering stakeholders) to deliver world-class marketing communications for initiatives.
Represent the voice of the Gaming community among cross-functional teams within the company.
Build and improve the overall Snap Games & Snap Kit brand awareness + experience for consumers, frame and track the competitive landscape, understand target markets, and identify insights to inform product strategies and go-to-market activities.
Measure & Understand Market Performance
Monitor, analyze, and measure the effectiveness of brand and consumer marketing initiatives to develop insights and make real-time and forward looking recommendations.
Partner with media team to develop brand and performance driven media plans that effectively promote content.
Develop and oversee measurement dashboard for marketing initiatives (e.g., reach/awareness, user behavior, efficiency, and sentiment metrics) in conjunction with consumer insights, growth, comms, data science and Mar Sci.
Synthesize learnings into actionable insights to shape plans and report best practices with cross-functional teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or equivalent experience
7+ years in consumer gaming marketing experience, with prior direct responsibility for running creatively led 360-campaigns, from strategy to executing the tactics, both paid and organic, and delivering results.
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep understanding of mobile games and game developers
Experience working directly with developers, product and partnerships to partner on campaigns. Able to guide creative input, development and execution from concept to completion.
Advanced decision-making skills with proven ability to lead, influence, align and inspire teams, including those who are not direct reports.
Highly data-driven possessing strong ability to use insights to frame recommendations and results into concise and actionable reports.
Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution.
Exemplary project management skills, with strong ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean and demanding work environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt and work effectively with a team.
