Marketing Analytics Manager
We’re looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager to join Team Snapchat! As a member of the Consumer Insights team, you will develop and execute business insight tools and analytic approaches to measure the impact of our marketing activities. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will work with internal and external stakeholders, data and tools to deliver quality insights, conclusions, and answers. This role is highly entrepreneurial. Key projects will include standing up new analytic tools (Marketing Mix Modeling), approaches (matched market testing) and synthesizing multiple sources of data to tell one cohesive story.
What you’ll do:
Manage the development and planning of key data-driven analyses to support the overall Marketing vision
Set marketing analytics priorities and vision for 2020 and beyond
Synthesize multiple internal and external data sources to create holistic presentations with recommendations for media strategy and execution
Stand up foundational analytic tools (e.g. Market Mix Models) across markets and products, working with internal and external partners to develop most accurate method, metrics and reporting cadence
Partner with Brand Managers, Brand Insights, Finance and Growth teams
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
7+ years experience in business analytics, preferably in the Tech or Entertainment verticals
Preferred qualifications:
Deep understanding of digital platform user data, trends and how to address business questions in robust way that translates to simple outputs
Proven track record in leading business insights methods and tools including experience with data visualization, SQL, R and SPSS desired
Experience in statistical models development (probabilistic graphical models, marketing Mix Models, General and Bayesian Regressions)
Strong collaborator: interested and motivated by working with others. Actively creates and participates in opportunities to co-create solutions across markets
Executes with a high degree of precision, ensuring attention to detail
Current pulse on digital platforms, tools, and trends that are reshaping media and advertising every day
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
