The GBS team’s mission is to educate our broader community on Snap’s brands by creating opportunities to connect with them on a more emotional level. We’re looking for a Virtual Events Lead to join our Global Brand Strategy team!
What you’ll do:
Join a subgroup of the Global Brand Strategy team to work on a cutting-edge new virtual event platform that is quickly developing and growing its user base
Learn the totality of the platform’s back-end and user experience in order to support clients, suggest improvements and new features, and build experiences
Conceptualize and carry out imaginative virtual experiences for a variety of enterprise, educational, and social clients
Work with hundreds of creators currently in the platform’s beta version to support them in understanding the product, executing their events and experiences, and providing on-demand troubleshooting support
Conduct training sessions on the platform for clients and team members
Ensure the regular updating of operational documents such as the event calendar, content calendar, and client masterlist
Work cross functionally to plan and execute logistics for global events
Develop comprehensive project timelines and create new visual branding elements
Make sure that events are planned and executed in a timely manner and within budget
Manage relationships with new and existing vendors and stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience producing digital events
Desire to work in a startup environment where team members work collaboratively across all projects and operations
Strong communication skills with ability to demonstrate expertise with executive stakeholders
Excellent negotiation skills and an understanding of contractual agreements
Experience working with Google applications, Apple applications, and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, or other creative softwares
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
Experience working with virtual event platforms
6+ years of proven experience successfully managing and producing global events
Can-do attitude; no task is too big or too small
Strong work ethic and ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proven track record of producing unique event activations
Experience supporting sales and advertising initiatives at a Tech/Media company, or Production Agency
Meticulous attention to detail on creative and design elements
Fluency in industry trends
A passion for the Snapchat brand!
