Director, Product Marketing

Director, Product Marketing

The Director of Product Marketing defines and leads the go-to-market strategies for ServiceTitan’s innovative and dynamic SaaS products. This role ensures the success of offerings within his or her portfolio by developing and executing go-to-market plans that are audience-centric and align with the company’s business goals and objectives. We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated to drive change, implement best practices and lead matrixed and direct-report teams to deliver results.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct market research, segmentation and relative targeting efforts to define market opportunities for the product portfolio
  • Oversee the product portfolio launch strategy and launch planning, collaborate with product management and cross-functional leaders to apply a launch tier model and negotiate decision gates and budgets for commercial release; ensure launches are integrated with campaigns
  • Develop deep understanding of target buyer and customer personas, buying needs, and buyer’s journey to inform the development of messaging and content strategy; Conduct research to gather data and insights
  • Create product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the buying audience; ensure that source messaging documents are used by downstream marketing functions such as campaign, demand and content teams
  • Create product marketing plans for offerings including quarterly marketing plans for the target audience segments, including marketing campaigns and programs designed to drive awareness, demand and adoption of the products
  • Partner with the Sales Enablement function to create and execute on sales enablement plans that equip reps with the knowledge, content and tools they need to successfully engage with buyers and customers
  • Establish strategies to drive retention, upsell and cross-sell for the product portfolio
  • Conduct win/loss interviews and ongoing analysis to determine customer product adoption and gather competitive insights
  • Establish metrics; Monitor and report on the performance of the product portfolio, results of related sales and marketing and efforts
  • Lead indirect and direct team members

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 6-10 years of product marketing experience
  • Strong history in building and leading teams (including direct reports) and driving the success of product marketing organizations in SaaS/Software
  • Ability to conduct market, competitor and customer research to gather insights and assess market opportunities
  • Ability to create value propositions and messaging strategies
  • Ability to develop strategies for creating pipeline for new offerings as well as upsell, cross-sell and account-based marketing programs to grow existing relationships
  • Ability to develop marketing campaign strategies and plans; Ability to link product launches to organizational campaign themes and goals
  • Critical thinker with strong writing, communication, presentation development and delivery skills including ability to effectively communicate with executive and cross-functional leaders
  • Highly accountable self-starter that is able to work with little direct supervision
  • A desire to work in a high growth and results-oriented team environment
  • SaaS Experience preferred
  • Experience with SiriusDecisions frameworks and methodologies a plus
