Who We're Seeking:

Omaze is looking for a Director of Email Marketing to lead our email program through strategic and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate has a strong digital marketing background with extensive knowledge of customer segmentation, engagement, loyalty and winback.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage our ongoing email program, continuously driving improvements by putting in place comprehensive, measurable testing plans and strategies
  • Lead the process of building out segmentation and lifecycle marketing and provide thought leadership on how best to communicate to our donors
  • Develop and continually refine the email marketing strategy to increase revenue, drive customer engagement, reduce churn, and win back lapsed customers
  • Partner with our internal data science team to drive forward reporting, analysis and subsequent strategies for acquisition of emails, retention and win-back
  • Partner with data science, product management, engineering and creative teams to improve segmentation capabilities
  • Manage growth and health of our donor database
  • Mentor and manage existing team
  • Conduct frequent analysis of competitor programs and email best practices.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • You have 5-7 years of experience in B2C marketing, ideally with a company that’s gone through a high-growth period
  • You are customer-centric in your approach and thinking and know how to use creative to connect with customers at an emotional level
  • You are a strong communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • You have strong analytical skills, and are able to translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong knowledge of Bronto and/or prior experience working for a marketplace business is a plus
  • You are an experienced manager who cares deeply for the personal and professional development of the people on their team
  • You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • You take your work seriously but not yourself

Location

The office is located in Marina del Rey with easy access to plenty of restaurants. We are close to LAX, beaches and Marina.
