Who We're Seeking:
Omaze is looking for a Director of Email Marketing to lead our email program through strategic and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate has a strong digital marketing background with extensive knowledge of customer segmentation, engagement, loyalty and winback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage our ongoing email program, continuously driving improvements by putting in place comprehensive, measurable testing plans and strategies
- Lead the process of building out segmentation and lifecycle marketing and provide thought leadership on how best to communicate to our donors
- Develop and continually refine the email marketing strategy to increase revenue, drive customer engagement, reduce churn, and win back lapsed customers
- Partner with our internal data science team to drive forward reporting, analysis and subsequent strategies for acquisition of emails, retention and win-back
- Partner with data science, product management, engineering and creative teams to improve segmentation capabilities
- Manage growth and health of our donor database
- Mentor and manage existing team
- Conduct frequent analysis of competitor programs and email best practices.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- You have 5-7 years of experience in B2C marketing, ideally with a company that’s gone through a high-growth period
- You are customer-centric in your approach and thinking and know how to use creative to connect with customers at an emotional level
- You are a strong communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- You have strong analytical skills, and are able to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong knowledge of Bronto and/or prior experience working for a marketplace business is a plus
- You are an experienced manager who cares deeply for the personal and professional development of the people on their team
- You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
