We’re looking for a Business Marketing Manager, Entertainment to join Team Snapchat!
In this role, you’ll partner with the Marketing and Sales teams from our global offices to develop and execute internal and external programs that leverage our own platform and products to educate and inspire our clients through world-class business marketing.
Working from our Los Angeles office, you’ll lead vertical specific initiatives for the Entertainment vertical in North America (Studios, Streaming, TV) and partner with the International Marketing team to scale efforts globally. We are looking for an experienced marketing leader and self-starter who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, managing cross-functional teams, and problem-solving with limited oversight. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Vertical Marketing.
What you’ll do:
Bring your brand marketing experience and subject matter expertise in the Entertainment industry to develop and execute B2B marketing programs that bring to life Snapchat’s advertising solutions across the Studios, Streaming and TV business
Lead strategy and execution for integrated marketing plans, sales and marketing collateral, case studies and thought leadership to align with business and revenue goals, and partner with the International Business Marketing team to scale these efforts globally.
Measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and the ROI of its expenditures
Build relationships with key stakeholders and lead cross-functional collaboration with Business Insights, Consumer Marketing, International Marketing, Product Marketing, Comms, Design and Legal.
Increase advertiser consideration of Snapchat by developing educational events (large scale industry events to smaller master classes) at a high frequency.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Track record of success in domestic or international marketing roles, B2B or B2C, building full-funnel advertising campaigns and leading cross-functional teams
A superb track record for project management, executing multiple projects simultaneously, at a high frequency
Storyteller with experience translating insights, product information and data into client-facing marketing presentations
Experience guiding creative production of campaigns, printed collateral, presentations, websites, videos and other marketing materials
Proven experience as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing performance measures, processes and systems
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance, and to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Experience thinking creatively, communicating and presenting to large groups, and a deep proficiency in brand building
Travel required for events as needed
A passion for Snapchat and creativity!
5+ years of brand marketing experience in the Entertainment industry developing strategy, positioning and messaging for brands or product in a marketing organization
5+ years experience with digital media, using advertising data to craft media strategy
Subject matter expertise in the Entertainment industry
