Position Overview:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized Marketing Specialist to lead the planning and execution of our global webinar and live demo programs. This role will also support marketing campaign execution across email and digital channels. You’ll collaborate with teams across marketing, product, and sales to build an engaging, conversion-focused virtual events calendar and ensure consistent lead follow-up. If you enjoy managing multiple priorities and take pride in creating polished, high-impact marketing experiences, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end execution of our global webinar and live demo programs—from planning and scheduling to hosting and post-event operations.
  • Manage the virtual events calendar and coordinate speakers, timelines, and assets across internal teams.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for our webinar platform (e.g., Goldcast), including setup, testing, and implementation of new features.
  • Act as host for live webinars, welcoming audiences, introducing speakers, and ensuring a smooth and engaging experience.
  • Drive audience generation through promotional campaigns, email sends, and landing page coordination.
  • Ensure timely and effective lead follow-up post-event in collaboration with sales and demand generation.
  • Build and deploy email marketing campaigns and newsletters, aligning with brand voice, segmentation strategy, and campaign goals.
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing, creative, and digital teams to support integrated marketing programs.
  • Track performance and share insights to optimize future virtual events and campaign effectiveness.

Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on webinars, virtual events, and managing outbound marketing email initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills; you’re able to juggle timelines, stakeholders, and shifting priorities with ease.
  • Comfortable owning the details—whether it’s formatting an email, testing a live webinar flow, or coordinating follow-up.
  • Clear communicator and confident presenter, especially in a live virtual setting.
  • Familiarity with tools like Goldcast, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar marketing platforms is preferred.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience working in B2B/Enterprise tech marketing.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
