About the Role & Team 

theScore, and Penn Interactive, wholly-owned subsidiaries of PENN Entertainment, empowers millions of sports fans through its digital media and sports betting products. Its media app ‘theScore’ is one of the most popular in North America, delivering fans highly personalized live scores, news, stats, and betting information from their favorite teams, leagues, and players. theScore, and Barstool Sports, sports betting apps ‘theScore Bet Sportsbook & Casino’/Barstool Sportsbook and Casino, deliver immersive and holistic mobile sports betting and iCasino experiences. theScore Bet is currently live to place wagers in the company’s home province of Ontario, and Barstool Sportsbook and Casino is live across the United States. theScore also creates and distributes innovative digital content through its web, social and esports platforms.

As a member of theScore Bet Marketing team, the CRM Specialist will draft copy, work with marketing operations and the creative team to collect and verify promotional terms and assets as well as schedule and execute campaigns in our CRM tool. You will manage customer segments and help oversee the communications calendar. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, detail oriented and have proven experience in delivering end-to-end CRM campaigns across email, push and in-app mobile messaging. 

About the Work 

  • Work as part of theScore Bet CRM team to prepare, schedule and analyze promotions and lifecycle communications for theScore Bet brand. 
  • Draft promotional copy and create Branch links for deep linking purposes.
  • Work hand-in-hand with both the marketing operations and commercial sportsbook teams to coordinate logistics and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Increase customer engagement and retention, reducing churn, and actively moving users further down the loyalty path.
  • Use data and work closely with the analytics, risk and commercial marketing teams to identify key customer behaviors, assess and provide regular reporting on campaign performance, and continuously identify ways to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the theScore Bet Casino team to ensure a cohesive cross-platform user experience.
  • Be a proactive part of the ideation process, contributing in team meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Other duties as required. 

About You 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years CRM experience or equivalent position.  
  • In-depth knowledge of the sportsbook/igaming space
  • Interest and passion for sports a plus
  • Proven experience in delivering end-to-end CRM campaigns across email, push, SMS and in-app mobile messaging; Optimove experience a plus.
  • Strong copywriting and project management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail is a must.
  • Data-driven and curious about customer behavior.
  • Optimistic, solutions oriented and a great problem solver.
  • Strong team player, always willing to offer support and assistance when required.
  • Collaborative in your approach and good at building strong working relationships.

Salary Range
$44,000$60,000 USD
