WHY JOIN ALO?

Mindful movement. It’s at the core of why we do what we do at ALO—it’s our calling. Because mindful movement in the studio leads to better living. It changes who yogis are off the mat, making their lives and their communities better. That’s the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.

We’re seeking a highly organized and strategic Marketing Planning Manager to join our team. This role is critical in driving the seasonal go-to-market planning process across marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in integrated marketing and campaign planning, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to manage timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is a high-impact role that ensures strategic alignment, operational clarity, and timely execution across all marketing initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead seasonal marketing planning workflows in partnership with brand, creative, and channel teams — owning timelines, calendars, and key milestone tracking.
  • Translate business objectives into marketing briefs and integrated campaign deliverables.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Creative, Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Design, Site Merchandising) to align on strategy and executional needs across marketing touchpoints.
  • Drive the development, organization, and distribution of seasonal planning documents and campaign toolkits to ensure marketing channels are set up for go-to-market adoption.
  • Support Creative team on photoshoot planning through validation of photoshoot shot lists, deliverables, and alignment on seasonal narratives.
  • Coordinate inputs and facilitate cross-functional meetings that unlock creative development and channel execution.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline marketing workflows and improve planning processes.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to inform planning and support business strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or demonstrated experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in integrated marketing, marketing operations, or campaign planning.
  • Proven success working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting timelines.
  • Passion for brand storytelling and building operational clarity within creative environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Asana, Figma, and other planning tools is a plus.
  • Professional experience in fashion, retail, or consumer lifestyle brands strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with photoshoot production and asset planning preferred.
  • Understanding of omnichannel marketing and content deployment across digital marketing channels is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$115,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
