Job Title: Marketing Operations Manager
Location: Candidate must be located in Canada, preferably GTA region. Our office is located in Toronto, ON, Canada, but the role is remote/hybrid/flexible.

About the Role
Practice Better is seeking a data-driven Marketing Operations Manager to sit at the critical intersection of marketing, data analytics, and finance. This role will be instrumental in driving efficiency, optimizing performance, and providing the analytical foundation that powers our marketing strategy. You'll transform complex data into actionable insights, ensuring every marketing dollar drives measurable impact for our health and wellness practitioner community.
What You'll Do
Performance Analytics & Insights:
- Design and maintain comprehensive attribution models across all marketing channels, providing clear visibility into campaign ROI and customer acquisition costs
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on funnel performance, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities to improve conversion rates at each stage
- Track and analyze key marketing metrics including MQLs, SQLs, pipeline velocity, CAC, LTV, campaign attribution, Trial to Paid Conversion, and Churn.
- Develop predictive models to forecast campaign performance and inform budget allocation decisions
Operational Excellence
- Optimize marketing processes and workflows to increase team efficiency and reduce time-to-market for campaigns
- Manage marketing technology stack integration and data flow between systems (HubSpot, analytics platforms, etc.)Establish and maintain data governance standards to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reporting
- Lead marketing budget planning, tracking, and reconciliation, providing monthly variance analysis and recommendations
Strategic Partnership
- Partner with Performance Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Growth, and Customer Success teams to align on metrics and attribution methodology
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for marketing leadership and cross-functional partners
- Create executive-ready dashboards and reports that tell the story behind the numbers
- Serve as the marketing team's analytics expert, educating team members on metrics interpretation and best practices
Campaign & Channel Optimization
- Conduct multi-touch attribution analysis to understand the true impact of each marketing touchpoint
- Perform cohort analyses to identify trends in customer behavior and lifetime value
- A/B test campaign elements and provide statistical analysis on results and recommendations
- Monitor competitive landscape and industry benchmarks to contextualize performance
What You'll Bring
Required Experience:
- 4-6+ years of experience in marketing operations, analytics, or business intelligence roles, preferably in B2B SaaS
- Proven track record of building attribution models and analyzing complex, multi-channel marketing data
- Experience managing marketing budgets and providing financial analysis and reporting
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and at least one BI tool (Sigma, Power BI, Looker)
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred) and CRM systems
Technical Skills
- Expert-level data analysis skills with the ability to work with large datasets from multiple sources
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, including confidence intervals, significance testing, and cohort analysis
- Experience with attribution modeling (first-touch, last-touch, multi-touch, data-driven)
- Proficiency in building automated reporting and dashboards
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media advertising platforms

- Knowledge of Python or R for advanced statistical analysis
- Certification in Google Analytics, HubSpot, or relevant platforms
- Experience with customer health scoring or predictive churn models
- Background in finance or accounting

30 Days:
- Complete comprehensive audit of current attribution model and reporting infrastructure
- Establish baseline metrics and identify immediate optimization opportunities
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, growth, and finance
60 Days:
- Implement improved attribution framework with clear documentation
- Deliver first monthly marketing performance report with actionable insights
- Identify and launch 2-3 process improvements to increase team efficiency
90 Days:
- Establish automated reporting cadence with self-serve dashboards for the team
- Present comprehensive analysis on channel performance with budget reallocation recommendations
- Demonstrate measurable improvement in at least one key marketing metric through your insights
