Backed by $32.1 million in funding from SoftBank, NEA, and other top-tier funds and angel investors, our team is on a mission to redefine the gifting and swag experience. About the Role

At Goody, our brand is powered by magical connections with our community. As Goody’s Marketing Manager, you’ll design and deliver meaningful experiences that spark engagement, elevate our presence, and nurture loyal customers. You’ll be the driving force behind Goody’s webinars, field and partner events, and social media storytelling.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and execution. You’ll shape programs that make people want to connect with Goody and ensure every initiative ties back to measurable business impact.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage events & webinars: Own Goody’s event calendar—producing monthly webinars and periodic field events such as customer dinners, partner activations, gifting suites, and conferences that inspire and connect.
  • Grow our social presence: Develop standout content (with LinkedIn as our flagship channel) to expand awareness, foster conversation, and showcase Goody’s brand personality. Help crafting effective thought-leadership content for our executive team.
  • Develop compelling content: Create marketing assets (webinar decks, event collateral, social posts, blog articles, case studies, and customer stories) that tell Goody’s story in fresh, engaging ways and turn event learnings into thought leadership for our community.
  • Build community & advocacy: Cultivate ambassadors, encourage user-generated content, and create programs that deepen customer relationships (bonus: you’ll get to send lots of gifts!)
  • Lead cross-functional projects and campaigns: Work closely with Product, Sales, Partnerships, Merchandising, and Lifecycle Marketing to create moments that resonate with customers and partners – such as product launches, ABM campaigns, and sales initiatives.
  • Measure & optimize: Track KPIs across social, events, and webinars, sharing insights that fuel continuous improvement and ROI.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, with a strong track record in social media, events, and/or webinars (B2B or startup experience a plus).
  • Proven experience developing and executing innovative social media strategy (content and campaigns) at previous brands.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing in-person and virtual events that drive measurable pipeline impact.
  • Strong project management instincts. You can keep multiple programs moving without dropping details.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills. You can craft posts, event copy, and decks that people want to engage with.
  • Creative eye for design and storytelling, with hands-on experience creating presentations or digital assets.
  • Experience working with creative teams and agencies (briefing, art-direction, asset management, etc)
  • Fluency in LinkedIn as a marketing platform. Bonus points for content creation and video production experience across Reels and Tiktok.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for field marketing events and our annual company offsite.

Benefits
  • Remote-first (preference for candidates based in NYC, LA, or SF)
  • Salary range: DOE $80,000 - $130,000
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan (401k)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)
  • Short Term & Long Term Disability
  • Annual company offsite. Previous locations include Miami, Cabo San Lucas, San Diego, and Banff.
  • $100/month wellness stipend
  • Stock Option Plan
  • Goodys!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
