Summary of This Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Programs Marketing Manager to join the growing Marketing Programs team at Global Payments and help support our Developer audience.  In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Partner Programs and will lead the creation and execution of developer-focused marketing strategies from the ground up, collaborating across business functions and working with product, marketing, sales and various other teams. This role requires a unique blend of marketing and technical expertise. What Part Will You Play?

  • Design and implement a comprehensive developer program strategy that aligns with our business objectives, focusing on acquisition and engagement.
  • Develop high-level marketing programs and campaigns tailored to the developer lifecycle, including onboarding, education, and retention.
  • Create and distribute impactful content such as blogs, tutorials, videos, and newsletters that address developer pain points and demonstrate the value of our platforms and APIs.
  • Manage developer communications, including newsletters, webinars, events, social channels and other engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and other marketing teams to ensure program alignment and integration.
  • Monitor program performance, gather developer feedback, and adjust strategies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to evolve the developer program.
  • Serve directly as the marketing advocate for our developer program & strategy.
  • Remote - US Based
  • Monday - Friday, standard business hours.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical marketing, program management, or a related role, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or payments.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing programs that drive engagement and measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of developers as an audience, including familiarity with their tools, workflows, ecosystems and vernacular.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a track record of managing multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating and delivering developer-focused content.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, be proactive and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with developer-focused channels such as Medium, YouTube, or GitHub.
  • Familiarity with payment technologies, APIs, and platforms.
  • Proven ability to launch and grow [developer] communities or similar initiatives.
  • A passion for working at the intersection of technology and marketing to deliver innovative programs.

$95,000 - $110,000
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
