  • We’re looking for an enthusiastic, technically-savvy CRM Operations Manager to support CRM initiatives for Yahoo Sports. In this hands-on role, you’ll execute dynamic, data-driven marketing campaigns across email, push, and newsletter channels to engage millions of fans—helping them connect to the sports and products they love.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2–5 years of experience in technical CRM or email marketing operations to grow their impact on a high-visibility team. You’ll work closely with marketing strategists, engineers, and analysts to deliver personalized experiences at scale, while learning best-in-class lifecycle marketing practices along the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution: Build and deploy engaging, user-led campaigns across email, push, and newsletters to support sports marketing initiatives—ranging from product launches to new user onboarding and lifecycle automation.

  • Lifecycle Program Management: Own the setup, maintenance, and quarterly audits of recurring and triggered CRM programs—ensuring accuracy, deliverability, and optimal user experience.

  • CRM Best Practices: Stay up to date on the latest trends in email marketing, mobile engagement, and personalization strategies—and apply them to every campaign.

  • Data Collaboration: Partner with engineering and data teams to translate business objectives into smart targeting strategies and technically sound audience segments.

  • Testing & Optimization: Implement A/B tests and campaign experiments to continuously improve performance and drive learnings.

  • Reporting & Insights: Build dashboards and produce quarterly roll-up reports to share performance insights, test results, and recommendations for future improvements.
     

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience executing CRM programs, with hands-on knowledge of email, push, and SMS marketing campaigns.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with large-scale audience segments and troubleshoot data or targeting issues.

  • Familiarity with HTML and experience resolving common email coding problems.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
    Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools and platforms (e.g., Zeta, Moveable Ink, Stensul)

  • Experience with dynamic content scripting (e.g., liquid scripting) is a plus.

  • Collaborative spirit, strong communication skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in essential business tools, including Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and Photoshop, with the ability to confidently navigate internal systems and marketing operations platforms.

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

The compensation for this position ranges from $65,625.00 - $136,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
